A few months back our neighbors moved away, which was kind of a bummer.
- It wasn’t just because they were superb friends, however they also had a huge beach household on a substantial plot of land and would often invite us over for sporting events and cookouts.
The bunch of us had some superb times over there, and we were hoping whoever moved in next would also become our friends. Instead we got some really strange people, and it seemed at first like there would be some trouble. I don’t like to judge people at all, however some hobbies are weirder than others, and beekeeping is a really weird hobby in my opinion! My wife and I were a little anxious that dozens of bee hives would now be a few hundred yards away from us. I am not allergic to bee stings like some people, however my wife had really never been stung so she didn’t know if she was or not. It just seemed dangerous to myself and others to live so close to various honeybees, and that it was really likely we would get stung a lot. The beekeepers really turned out to be incredibly nice people, even though they were a bit odd. They invited us over to check out the bee farm. Much to my shock the bees all seemed to be pretty chill, and so maybe it would not be the nightmare both of us had imagined. They told us that if the bees ever became aggressive to let them know, however, that it would likely never happen. On the way out they provided us a jar of honey, and I must say it was the best honey I’ve ever tried.
