Who said that finally working from one’s house was straight-forward? I swear I think I heard this or maybe I’m just assuming it as some basic fact among many others. I mean you don’t have to drive to the office and you get to do your job in comfy clothes. And, I can take a break separate from having to dodge the boss. All of that is true. But finally working from my house in the comfort of the heating as well as A/C is not all that it’s cracked up to be. First, I couldn’t find a proper location to work. I assumed I’d just plop down wherever I could in the heating as well as A/C and do my own thing. Uh, that didn’t really do the job. Too many distractions and the couch is not a nice job area. I still had to do all the stuff that I did in the office. Only now, I had to find a good place to do that from home. Quickly, it became obvious that the basement was the only area where I could be uninterrupted and get stuff done. So, I set up a desk down there and got to work. Immediately, it became legitimately clear that I had no heating as well as A/C down there. It got clammy and too warm by the middle of the morning. I had to do something and the space heating and cooling equipment just didn’t cut it. I called in the pros from the heating as well as the A/C arena all of us use. They had the answer in a ductless heating as well as A/C unit. It went in no problem and I was finally working in perfect heating as well as A/C comfort by that morning. It works great so I’m thinking about making this space a permanent bit of a guy cave and an office.
