I guess I’ve missed out on a lot of things in the past year. I’m sure that a lot of people are feeling this way after being locked in their house for several months straight. Whenever I do leave my residence, I am surprised by the number of things that have rapidly changed around here. I didn’t realize that there were so many innovations taking place. I also didn’t know that it was becoming so easy to access high quality goods and services no matter where you live. All of this really came to the forefront of my mind as I wandered into the hardware store last week on the search for a new air filter. Normally, I simply order my air filters online and have them delivered on a regular basis. When the filtration devices arrive in the mail I know that it’s time to complete my routine air filter changes. However, recently my online supplier has been out of stock when it comes to the correct air quality control device. As such, I had no choice but to head to the local hardware store and pick one up in person. When I walked into the shop I was amazed by the selection of air filters in the aisle. I had no idea that there were so many unique brands and sizes of air filters for your forced air furnace or air conditioning unit. I even saw extremely fancy air filters, including the HEPA filtration devices and scented air filters. If I had known that there were such high tech options when it came to filtration selections, I probably would have been visiting the hardware store a lot more often.
