How is the heat treating you this year? Yesterday I made the mistake of going outside to mow the yard in the late day. There was heavy cloud cover, so I thought I would be okay, of course the clouds cleared up halfway through the job, & I spent the next hour perspiring bullets under the brutal sun. This time of year everyone mow the grass first thing in the day, or just hire someone to do it, although I had to be a hero! As soon as I finished I abandoned the mower in the yard & ran into the cool, refreshing AC & chugged a half gallon of ice cold water. After I reclaimed from our near-heat-stroke experience, I decided that I should call an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C tech to come out to the house. It wasn’t because the air conditioning was broken, in fact it had been running perfectly for months, & I had no complaints! But being out in that deathly heat made myself and others realize how catastrophic it would be if the central Heating, Ventilation, & A/C did cut down. Then I would have no relief from the summer, so since the air conditioning was running basically 24/7 I thought some preventative service would be in order. They say an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, & that is what our AC system needed to keep running strong although this hellscape of a summer. An Heating, Ventilation, & A/C tech came out to the house, looked at everything, & offered myself and others a clean bill of health, so I should have no worries this summer.
