My friends and I go to the fitness center everyday after work.
I like to stay physically fit and mentally strong at all times.
There is a gym in the apartment building where we live, but it always has a lot of people inside. Even though it’s free, I decided it was better to pay for a membership at the fitness center. Several of my friends also have memberships at the same gym and we usually work out at the same time. Wednesday afternoon, I arrived at the gym first. The lady in the lobby gave me some bad news. Starting the next day, the fitness center was going to be closed for repairs and renovations. After a visit from the HVAC company, the place found out that upgrades were necessary in order to pass the building codes. They were allowed to remain open for business the rest of the day, but they had to Schedule the repairs for the following day. While the HVAC repairs are being completed, the fitness center has to shut down for business. When my friends arrived, they heard the same awful news. For 3 days in a row, we had to go to the fitness center at the apartment complex and share all of the machines with our neighbors. It was one of the worst experiences and one of the main reasons why I didn’t want to work out in the apartment building in the first place.Everyone of us were happy when the HVAC repairs were completed and the doors reopened to the public.
