I put up a gate around the fireplace to keep him out, but he knows how to unlock the child proof mechanism plus he gets right in! Just the other day, I ran to the powder room to pee honestly fast plus I came back as soon as I was done washing our hands plus he was right in the fireplace again! I’m going to have to find another genre of lock to keep him out of there, despite the fact that I figure he might just use chairs or something to jump over the gate.
Honestly, I can’t even leave our kid alone for even a second, but he’s a toddler but he gets into everything. I never realized before all of us had a kid how much trouble they could be! I thought all of us were nice when all of us baby proofed the house, but as he got older, he l received how to get through all the baby proof devices. It’s almost love they are worthless because they don’t do anything to hold him back. The thing that honestly has been getting to myself and others lately is that he likes to play in the fireplace! All of us try to keep it as clean as possible, but he gets honestly filthy whenever he gets in there. I’m telling you, this kid is going to drive myself and others insane. I don’t know how much longer I can last, but I’m trying to keep it together.
