I tell you, there’s nothing better than eating some steak cooked on the grill.
First of all, it’s actually fun grilling the steaks, especially when you get the perfect high quality steaks from the store. We usually go for New York Strip steak or porterhouse. I love to season up the steaks and the smell when you throw them on the grill is wonderful. Usually when I’m outside grilling, it’s typically a hot day. The sun will be shining and it will be hot, but still, I always know that when I’m done cooking the food, it’s right back inside to the comfort of the cooling system. I have even been happy grilling in the winter season from time to time. My wife always says I’m nuts, but I don’t mind cooking outside in the cold weather, even though it takes a little longer to cook the food. Still, I make those steaks to perfection just like always and then I get to go back inside to enjoy the heating system and the fireplace! I don’t cook outside when it’s below freezing very often, but when I do I still have a good time doing it! My wife actually says that she thinks the steaks taste better when I cook in the middle of the winter. I’m not entirely sure about that though, I think she just likes it when I cook in general because that means she doesn’t have to. Sometimes I wish I had a little more comfort when cooking outside in the cold though, like a heater insert for my jacket or something like that.
