When I went to the doctor a few days ago for a check up, the nurse made a really unusual suggestion! This entire year, I’ve been battling with a slew of allergy issues.
I’m not sure what’s going on with myself, but my dust irritations have been worse this year than they’ve ever been before.
Maybe it’s because I’m getting older, I don’t know. All I know is that they’re driving insane, and it feels like the indoor air quality in our home isn’t as good as it used to be. However, of course all of that could be in my mind, but I don’t think it is. Anyway, I went to the allergy nurse a couple of weeks ago and he had some interesting thoughts for me. Instead of prescribing new medicine or administering shots for my dust allergies, the nurse suggested that I contact our local heating and cooling business. He seemed to believe that I may ease the allergy issue by increasing the indoor air quality in our home. He may be onto something, because I’ve never really explored that before! When I reached the HVAC firm to schedule the appointment, the guy I spoke with claimed that they deal with situations like this all the time. He said that they would do a professional cleaning of our air ducts and air vents and then they would install a whole home air purification system for us. He promised me that I would be able to tell a difference in the indoor air conditions right away, so I’m feeling hopeful!
