When I went in to visit the dentist a couple of weeks ago, he made an intriguing suggestion. I’ve been suffering with a lot of allergy issues this year. I’m not sure what’s going on with me, but my pollen irritations have been worse this year than ever before. Perhaps it’s because I’m growing up, I don’t know! All I know is that they’re driving me insane, and it feels like the air quality in our house isn’t as good as it used to be. Of course, all of this may be in my head, but I doubt it. Anyway, I saw the allergy specialist a few weeks ago, and she had some fascinating ideas for me. Instead of prescribing me existing medicine or administering a shot for my pollen allergies, the dentist advised me to contact my local heating and cooling provider. She seemed to believe that by changing the air quality in our home, I might be able to alleviate the allergy issue. She could be onto something, because I’ve never considered that before. When I phoned the Heating and Air Conditioning firm to schedule the appointment, the woman I spoke with explained that they deal with situations like this all the time. She stated that they will do a professional cleaning of our HVAC ducts and air vents, as well as implement a whole home air purification system for us. She told me that I’d notice an improvement in the air quality right away, so I’m feeling optimistic!
