Before they stop selling my favorite air filters, I’m going to stock up on them.
I have been afraid that something like this was going to happen because of all of the shutdowns going on over the past year and now it has finally happened! My favorite manufacturer of air filters is going to be closing for business and I am very upset about it.
I have been using the same brand of air filters ever since I moved into my house almost 30 years ago. I am definitely a creature of habit and I do not want to change the brand of air filters that I use. This type of air filter has always worked really well for me, and I’ve never had any problems at all with my furnace or with my air conditioning system in all of the years that I have been living here. I don’t know if I just got lucky with the brand of HVAC system that I use or what, but we have been very lucky as far as having few issues with the heating and cooling system here. I know that a lot of people have troubles with theirs nearly all the time. That just hasn’t been an issue for us here in this house and I give all of the credit to the air filters that I have always used. I always say that if it’s not broken, don’t fix it! Now, though, I’m going to have to go around to all of the stores in the area just to see if I can buy them out of my favorite air filters. I guess I will buy all of the ones that they have that will fit my HVAC system just so that I can have a stockpile that will last me through the next several years!
