When my wife and I went to our favorite restaurant the other day, it was kind of something we decided on a whim.
I honestly wasn’t even that hungry, but I figured when I smelled the food, my stomach would start growling.
Well, we got there and the temperature control settings were just as splendid as ever. It also seemed like the air quality had improved since the last time we were there. I couldn’t help it, so I had to ask the waiter about the air quality. He smiled and said that they had just installed a new UV air purification system. He said they had an old air purification system that worked well for a long time, but it died recently and had to be replaced. Well, that was comforting news to hear because I understand that the UV light kills harmful pathogens and therefore makes the place safer to be in. I guessed this might have been the reason why the place was more crowded than usual, people wanted to go to a place that was comfortable like that with great air quality. Well, it certainly helps that their food is delicious. I still wasn’t all that hungry though so I just got water and ordered a salad to munch on. My wife wasn’t too hungry either, so she just got a milkshake and a grilled cheese sandwich. We honestly usually spend more money when we go out, but not today. At least I made sure to leave the waiter a good tip and he told us to come back soon!
