I was going to see a neighbor last week.
She and her hubby had recently moved into a current condo and she wanted me to come see it.
Once our kids were in college and our hubby in work, I headed out. I could not wait to visit. She had Tim Hortons Cappuccino and danish ready when I got there, and I wasn’t disappointed. She offered me the grand tour, and it was the most charming house. The last area of the condo both of us saw was the basement. I could not guess how small the basement was. If I had been taller, I wouldn’t have been able to sit up. I took 1 look at the heating system and I laughed. There was particularly little room for me to fit behind it and I wondered how a grown woman could fit behind that heating system. Mary asked why I was laughing, and I told her. I said I was picturing a woman the size of our hubby getting stuck behind the heating system while toiling on it. All I could picture was her needing to call the emergency rescue team to get him out of the crawlspace. She said she had never thought of it that way, and both of us both started laughing. We went back upstairs to finish our Tim Hortons Cappuccino and Danish. We had a unbelievable visit, however I could not stop thinking about the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional getting stuck in the basement. It was such an weird shaped basement I could not wait for my hubby to get beach condo so I could tell him about it.
