Window a/cs are surprisingly effective

You don’t consistently need new technology to get great results.

I have a neighbor who uses a cell PC from the late 2000s, and it still works.

It’s one of those outdated flip PCs and he’s had it for at least the last 15 years. There’s some people that feel like they need a new PC every year even if the outdated one still works. I still have the same smartphone from a couple years ago and I’m just thrilled that the GPS gets me to where I need to go when I’m looking for a particular location I haven’t been before. I use my PC more for its apps than I do for calling or texting people. That’s why I would not be able to get by with a 15-year-old flip PC for my purposes particularally, and but there are other instances where I’m more than thrilled to use outdated technology. When I decided to turn a guest family room into a apartment office, I realized that the A/C wasn’t cooling that room as much as the other parts of the house. You could maintenance the ventilation system to compensate for the temperature differences, even though I decided to add an a/c to the apartment office. Instead of spending a lot of money on a ductless mini split, I simply bought a window a/c from the hardware store. Even though window a/cs have been around forever, the technology has improved fastly in their harshly efficient price; Compare a $300 window a/c to a $3,000 ductless mini split, and you shall wonder why you’re paying 10 times the price for the latter.
