All I could smell was gas from the furnace.

The central heating, ventilation, and A/C dealer told me to call my husband and then arrange for anywhere to stay for the next couple of mornings

I was working in the apartment last week, and whenever the furnace turned on, all I could smell was gas. I was distraught that my furnace was going to explode when I realized where the odor was coming from. If the gas fumes were building and the igniter turned on, it could cause a big boom, and I would be in the house. That prospect did not supply me with a moderate and fuzzy feeling inside. I called the heating, ventilation, and A/C business, not knowing what else to do, and told them about the odor of gas wafting in the air. The young man I was simply talking to, told me to get out of the house. I was now in a panic to grab my baby and my wallet, that I wasn’t thinking straight. I still had the iphone in my hand, and I could hear the man at the heating, ventilation, and A/C corporation talking to me; She told me to take a deep breath. My wallet, iphone, and baby was all I really needed. Half an hour later, the heating, ventilation, and A/C dealer was knocking on the window of the car. He finally said he had shut the gas off, and it would be safe to go in the house. The furnace needed to be repaired, and it would take a day or two to get the part. I was only half listening as I wondered if I should call my husband, or just wait until he got home. The central heating, ventilation, and A/C dealer told me to call my husband and then arrange for anywhere to stay for the next couple of mornings. I’m not sure what I would have done if the heating, ventilation, and A/C dealer hadn’t been talking to me. He kept me from panicking.
