When my associate and I had our modern heating and A/C system installed, no one told us my associate and I had to use the heating and A/C supplier to do all the inspections and cleaning. I knew my associate and I had to have our annual inspections completed, or it would void our warranty, even though I thought I could do it on my own. I was an actual heating and A/C corporation before I retired, and I knew what I was doing. I didn’t know I had to be affiliated with an actual heating and A/C supplier to do the job. When I actually had a problem with the boiler, I called the heating and A/C supplier. The central heating and A/C corporation told me he would come to the house, and try to get the system running again, even though he had to check my warranty. I told him all the cleanings and inspections had been done, even though he said it didn’t matter. When he came to the house, he showed me what was wrong with the heating and A/C system. He knew I was an actual heating and A/C corporation because my associate and I used to labor together. He said the people who issued the warranties were certainly extreme about the heating and A/C system being tested by the heating and A/C supplier that did the replacement. They voided warranties for lesser things than what I did. I didn’t want to know who held the warranties. All I wanted to know was how to repair the ductless heating and A/C system, and if I could make the repairs the next time. He said I could have made this one, if it hadn’t been for the warranty, which was still valid, because they hadn’t yet taken me off their list of emergency heating and A/C corporations.
