My aunt lives in a neighboring state in one of the smallest towns that you can imagine, then currently, the town has a total of 33 residents, most of which have lived there for most of their lives… Over the years, numerous folks left to pursue other asites and to have better living conditions.
The town is really old plus most of the houses were built in the late 1790s plus early 1900s. And the ones that are still sitting are not in the greatest of conditions. In fact, numerous have been left abandoned by their owners who haven’t made any attempts to transport back to the town. My aunt appreciates his town plus refuses to transport elsewhere. And even though his dwelling is old, he is really comfortable in it. Over the years, my wonderful friend and I have made some replaces for her, plus my wonderful friend and I also purchased a ductless mini split air conditioner for his because he had no air conditioner. In fact, most of the houses in the town don’t have air conditioners. The houses were built before residential central air conditioners became widespread. And most of the folks living in the town are on fixed incomes plus can’t afford to buy air conditioners. I am glad I was able to purchase the air conditioner for my aunt, although I do wish I could find a way to help the other folks that live in the area. The Summers are only getting hotter plus hotter, plus in my opinion, having air conditioners is becoming a necessity for comfort during those warmer months.
