My husband got called out within the storm

Storm season is always a busy time of the year for numerous unusual reasons, and my husband and I live right in the path of numerous hurricanes, then they travel up the coast and move inwards right on top of the town where my associate and I live.

My friend and I have been here for almost two decades and my associate and I are accustomed to the troubles that happen when hurricanes and tropical storms arise, and for the last 5 years, my husband has been gone most of the time when there are storms.

My husband works as a lineman! As a line worker, he is responsible for repairing, maintaining, and installing the power lines that give electricity from one place to another. My husband works on overhead lines, some stations, underground cables, and transformers, then when storm interest takes down trees and power lines, my husband is one of the first to get called out during the storm, however yesterday my associate and I had a style 3 hurricane a few hours south of us. My husband was one of the first people to get called out. Luckily for us, he gets paid genuinely well for emergency work. When he has to take care of storm disfigurement, accidents, or equipment failure, he gets paid double time and he gets credit for every hour that he is away from the house. That includes drive time, sleep time, and supper. My friend and I paid six months of mortgage payments when my hubby got called out for a week to deal with storm disfigurement last year. That hurricane caused disfigurement to power lines all over the southeast.
