My spouse got called out in the storm

Storm season is always a tied up time of the year for many odd reasons, however my spouse plus I live right in the path of many hurricanes, they travel up the coast plus transfer inwards right on top of the neighborhood where we live.

My pal and I have been here for almost two decades plus we are accustomed to the problems that happen when hurricanes plus tropical storms arise, then for the last 5 years, my spouse has been gone most of the time when there are storms.

My spouse works as a lineman… As a line worker, she is responsible for repairing, maintaining, plus installing the power lines that give electricity from one locale to another. My spouse works on overhead lines, some stations, underground cables, plus transformers, and when storm interest takes down trees plus power lines, my spouse is one of the first to get called out during the storm, and last year we had a category 3 hurricane a few hours south of us. My spouse was one of the first people to get called out. Luckily for us, she gets paid particularly well for emergency work. When she has to take care of storm disfigurement, accidents, or unit failure, she gets paid double time plus she gets credit for every hour that she is away from the house. That includes drive time, sleep time, plus supper. My pal and I paid six months of mortgage payments when my hubby got called out for a week to deal with storm disfigurement last year. That hurricane caused disfigurement to power lines all over the southeast.
