A radiant flooring system uses hot water to conduct heat and then warm the floors. The hot water is run through pipes underneath the floor so that you don’t have to see any bulkley heating equipment that isn’t visually appealing to the eye. I know many families are having these radiant flooring systems installed because they like the lower costs. A traditional heating system will warm up the whole house and isn’t controlled room to room. This is one of the main advantages to a radiant flooring system. You can now control the temperature of each individual room and save a ton of money. On average a family will save over thirty five percent on their utility bill once they have switched to a radiant flooring system. I know that my husband and I looked into having a radiant flooring system installed a couple of years ago, but it was really pricey. However, I think the cost have gone down in recent years and I think we want to revisit the idea. I hope that we are able to have the radiant flooring installed because I know we will save money in the end. I am going to call the local HVAC company next week and have them give me a quote!
