I think that there’s something going on with my air conditioning system.
And it’s not what you might think.
Usually if someone tells you that something is wrong with their A/C, you think that their house is too hot and the A/C isn’t cooling things off the way that it should be. At least, that’s what I would think if someone told me that there was something going on with their air conditioning. In my case, though, it’s the complete opposite! For some reason, my air conditioning is running too cold! I don’t understand it, but when I set the thermostat in my house at one temperature, the whole house ends up feeling like it is a good ten degrees colder than that when the A/C fan stops running. I have been freezing to death ever since I turned the air conditioning on this year. I will turn the temperature up on the thermostat, sometimes all the way up to 78 degrees or so, but the house still feels like the inside of a refrigerator. I don’t really even know what to think about the situation, but something just isn’t right. I guess I shouldn’t complain about the fact that the A/C seems to be cooling the house better than usual, but I can’t help but think that this is all going to come back to bite me. I think I better have my HVAC technician come out and at least check out the thermostat unit. If there’s something wrong, I would rather have it fixed now than pay super high cooling bills later on for A/C that I didn’t even want!
