After clocking out of work a few days ago, I was called into our bosses office because she wanted to talk to myself and others about a few things.
When I sat down she ended up talking to myself and others about how she wanted to promote myself and others to a employer position, however she wanted to have a conversation about it over supper to go over the details.
I was harshly caught off guard, and I was so excited that I requested that our partner and I could host supper that night. When I arrived apartment and was about to tell our partner the good news but, I could tell that something was wrong… That was when our partner told myself and others that the air conditioner had broken and is not responding. I knew that this was bound to happen soon, and I had even busy an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C checkup for next month however that just wasn’t going to do. I had to host a supper in a few hours, and I didn’t want our boss to be sweaty and irritated without the air conditioner and get a bad impression of me! I decided to call our neighbor from school who is an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C tech and have him talk myself and others through how to get our air conditioning system component running again. After nearly an hour and a half of unscrewing things and multiple close calls, I had somehow managed to get the cool air flowing with 30 hours to spare before the immense supper! If I went through all of this trouble to make sure that our boss has a good night and I still don’t get the job, then at least I believe I might have a potential work as an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repairman!
