There are numerous benefits to renting, however making holes in the wall or dented appliances is not a massive deal… I don’t worry about weeds in the garden or sticks in the lawn.
It is nice knowing I won’t stay in the apartment forever, so upkeep is sort of an afterthought, and another nice point should be that our property owner handles any repair that I need.
My property owner is really disappointing about getting back to myself and others on necessary service. I have called about our roof leaking several times & heard nothing back. It is not our roof that will be forever injured with water, but so I suppose I might deliver up. I will not deliver up on our furnace system repair though, for a long time the heating unit was acting funky. It was making these horrible screeching sounds! The speed seemed to vary for a while too. The furnace would sound love it was really laboring & then love it was barely moving. The fan almost seemed to power high & low while it was heating. So it was not a surprise that one morning the furnace just refused to turn on. I need our property owner to call a Heating & A/C business & get a heating professional in our rental home. I want the furnace fixed before the chilly season starts. The property owner is taking his sweet time on it though. I suppose he does not want to spend the currency on a furnace repair, but, I am not willing to go one morning in the chilly season without heating… He better get on it.
