My sister is arguing with her boyfriend again and she is staying in my apartment.
I couldn’t let her sleep in her car, but I wish my parents lived closer.
I would rather not be in the middle of the drama between my sister and her boyfriend. I have no idea what they were fighting over this time, but it always seems to be something with the two of them. My sister called me around midnight last night and she was crying and upset. She wanted to spend a few nights at my apartment. I agreed because she sounded distraught. When she arrived at my apartment, she looked like a sorority girl on vacation. She spent half the night arguing with her boyfriend over phone and text messages and I didn’t get any sleep. I kept hearing the sound of the phone ding and time every 30 seconds. My sister kept turning down the thermostat too, which really drives me crazy. Before I went to bed, I set the temperature to 72°. I told my sister not to turn the thermostat down, because I’m trying to save money. I was in bed for less than 10 minutes when I heard the AC kick on. I came out to grab a glass of water and the thermostat was set to 68 degrees. My sister and I are going to end up arguing if she stays at my place for too long, so I hope she figures out a way to mend fences with her boyfriend. After all, she decided to leave her boyfriend in the house with her name on the deed.
