Large following on HVAC social media page

There’s a niche for everything.

I never thought that it was true, because all you see on the internet is the same popular ideas repeated over and over again.

But I suppose that is because it’s the mainstream opinion, rather than promoting the niche interests that people secretly follow. I had a hard time believing this myself until I accidentally created a social media following online for my HVAC job. I had no clue that my day task was worthy of a fan base, but evidently there is a significant interest in indoor air quality control and management. When I became a heating and cooling professional about 9 years ago, I never thought that cooling systems and gas furnaces were really interesting. I went into the HVAC system industry simply because it was a steady way to earn a paycheck and I prefer working with my hands. Several years into the air quality control specialist occupation, I randomly decided that it might be a great idea to take pictures of our AC repairs while in the hot season, but people often asked me how to service and diagnose their own cooling systems, so I started snapping photos in the middle of our AC service jobs at residential homes. I would post them now and again on Instagram with a small caption about indoor air quality management. Wouldn’t you know, that earned traction? Today, I have over a hundred thousand followers tune in to watch my proper HVAC service tasks. I could almost quit my day task, but then I would lose my air quality control niche.
