We are such great friends

I honestly feel that when we suffer in life, it actually makes us stronger and smarter. It’s like that old saying, “What doesn’t kill you will only make you stronger”. I agree with that saying. It’s not like anybody enjoys going through difficult times or major challenges, but I believe we all have to deal with that at various points in my lives. I really went through hard times when I got a divorce from my ex wife. She really took advantage of the situation as well which really bothered me. She was the one who cheated on me, yet she got the house, the car, and my son. She got set up with child support and is making off really well and has basically left me with nothing. When she started giving me problems about seeing my son though and she moved in her boyfriend in the house, I was fed up. I decided to fight for my son because I didn’t like how she was using him for money and having some good for nothing guy around my child. It was quite the battle in court and cost me a great deal of money, but now I have my son. Without having to pay such ridiculous amounts of child support now, I have been able to get back on my feet with my son. I am an HVAC technician so I would often take my son with me on service calls and taught him the ways of heating and cooling. People actually loved the fact that I would bring my son with me and they would always offer him treats and goodies. I didn’t want him to eat too much junk though, I wanted him to focus on health and nutrition unlike his mother who gave him pretty much whatever he wanted. When my son was older, I was so proud when he told me that he wanted to become HVAC certified so he could be a great HVAC technician like me.
