Sometimes all you need for peace of mind is a new security system

Then it alerts authorities.

My wife & I both work full-time and often overtime hours throughout the week, and sometimes even on weekends. The two of us have numerous children who are all old enough to be alone at home, but we still worry about them. The two of us wanted to be sure they got home from school safely and that they all followed our rules for curfew. We tell them to text us their whereabouts, but they sometimes forget. The two of us also were scared that they wouldn’t remember to lock the door. And while we do live in a fairly safe village, break-ins are not unheard of, and robberies happen most often in the middle of the day. After research & weighing many options, my partner & I decided to invest in a new home security system. It includes surveillance cameras, automated door locks, security codes, some exterior lighting & window sensors. The two of us now have access to our house with an app on our smartphones. If a window is broken or opened up, we get an immediate alert. If the front or back door is opened, we know about that too. In the event of a breach of security, the new system automatically notifies my partner & myself. Then it alerts authorities. The two of us can check the camera to see who is on the front porch or who is knocking on the door. I like the fact that we can lock & unlock the door from our smartphones and we can even give temporary security codes to allow servicemen access to the house. Because of this home security system, my partner & I feel much better about letting the kids be home on their own.
