I like my fiance so much, but he has a thing for getting odd gifts for people; He does not even feel that he does it though which makes it even more hilarious, then one year, he bought his mom a treadmill for Christmas, and he about killed him.
It was really funny to watch, and he wanted a treadmill, however the fact that his child got it for his made his feel quite self conscious.
I would have told him not to get it for her, but he never told myself and others what he bought her, and it did not come in the mail until the day before we went to his beach house to celebrate. He has bought myself and others quite a few funny gifts throughout the years, and last Christmas was no exception. I saw a relatively substantial box with my name on it under the Christmas tree for about various weeks, and I could not figure out what it was! When I opened it up, I found that it was an a/c system. I laughed my head off, but I was seriously glad to get an a/c system. He heard myself and others talk about how tepid it gets in our dining room during the summer time weeks, and he wanted to make sure I was cool enough. I truthfully have trouble sleeping sometimes because it is so tepid in our dining room. Every one of us have a/c downstairs, however the upstairs gets really tepid during the summertime. I was really surprised that he remembered and bought myself and others an a/c system for Christmas though. I guess it was quite sweet of him.
