I won’t use the bathrooms without the furnace cranked on

I think that it seems like such a small thing, but I really hate going into a gelid bathroom

When I actually head into the office, I only turn the furnace on for one essential reason. Our country is in the middle of a pandemic, plus pretty much everyone has been sent home from their working locations. Anyone who is not considered essential for the workforce was either sent home to task or left completely unemployed for a short phase of time. However, since our task was considered essential, I still have to come into work… The most difficult part about being the only one here is that they don’t leave the temperature control units on the typical program that they used to be on. Since a vast majority of the building isn’t being used, the owner doesn’t think that all of us need to turn on the gas furnaces to keep the whole building warm. However, I stroll through most of the building, plus I honestly wish that they would turn on the gas furnaces so that I wouldn’t have to be so cold in the building. The only part of the building that still has the gas furnace working regularly is our office, which is a nice thing. However, whenever I come into work, I always manually program at least one of the gas furnaces to come on. The gas furnace that I program is the same one that also heats the bathrooms. I think that it seems like such a small thing, but I really hate going into a gelid bathroom. I would rather turn off the heat to the entire office than use a nippy bathroom. I don’t know really if this makes me weird, but I would guess that pretty much everyone would turn the gas furnace on the same way I did. My boss hasn’t said anything about it, so I really do think he understands why I am using the gas heating equipment.
