Zoned HVAC for master bedroom

When my husband and I moved into our new home, we were thrilled. It has been such a blessing and we are excited to start a family soon. Obviously, not everything is perfect. The only thing that we really needed to fix was the master bedroom. When it got to be cooler, we could tell that the heating in the master bedroom was really lacking. Now that we’re coming into spring, my husband and I decided to look into zoned HVAC. We hadn’t really heard of it before, but when we were researching online about how to keep your room warm, we found an article about zoned HVAC. Zoned HVAC is essentially re-routing the furnace’s ductwork to pump more heat into a specified area of the house. We reached out to our HVAC provider to get an estimate on zoning the HVAC to our master bedroom. Our HVAC provider sent out an HVAC technician right away to take a look. After the HVAC technician looked at our furnace’s ductwork, he gave us an estimate that we were surprised to see (surprised in a very good way!). It turned out that zoned HVAC was not nearly as pricey as we thought it would be. We agreed to have our furnace’s ductwork zoned. It didn’t take very long to get zoned HVAC, and now the difference in our master bedroom was obvious. If there’s a room or place in your house that is lacking proper HVAC flow, I urge you to look into zoned HVAC. It’s pretty affordable and you won’t regret it!
