Don’t do it on your own

Being an electrical engineer for the past few years, I believed that I could do all my household mechanical repairs with little to no assistance! In an attempt to improve my air quality from a Youtube tutorial, I ended up hurting my oil furnace filter while trying to clear the blocked airway for the oil furnace.

On the bright side, there is an indoor comfort dealer close by so I just called them immediately, and a dealer was sent over to inspect the damage.

Little did I know I opened a can of worms when he evaluated further, however so my office uses an outdated heated gas oil furnace, and the motor had lost its grip as well, so that was another cost, and fearing for the worst I told him I might be unable to afford immediate upgradements and he proposed me that I should have mitigated that by subscribing to an cooling unit care program that offers respected check-up for a daily fee! Well, too late for that, I thought, but at this point, I just wanted my central heating patched up, if not, I’d have to rely on the electric heater, for a while and that does me no good. Speaking of heating, I questioned the dealer about the efficiency of a gas oil furnace while I was in harshly cold weather since I relied on propane to keep it working, but that wasn’t going to be a problem as long as propane is available! Anyways, this problem at hand taught me to be cautious, however the last time I had a dealer come over was when the building required boiler repair after the pipes took a hit from the malfunctioning heat pump that resulted in a new heat pump install and a test to confirm if dual fuel system was in order. Anyways, in summary, the dealer identified all the concerns and booked me in for a comprehensive service. I am not much of a reader, however his dealer brochure piqued my interest with a front-page feature of a geo heat pump demonstrating its features and also efficiency.
