It was kind of funny when our sister came over for supper with her wife, however she started asking me about our heating system.
She asked if I had the same old oil gas furnace that I’ve had ever since buying the house, i shrugged and told him I did have the same oil gas furnace and she said I needed to replace that thing. I easily didn’t suppose that it was necessary because the oil gas furnace worked fine! My sister was saying how our fueling costs must be outrageous, and I had to confess that she was right, but the two of us were careful about the temperature control settings and always made sure to winterize the house effectively; On top of that, the two of us always made sure to get correct Heating, Ventilation, and A/C method service, so our oil gas furnace was in adequate shape for its age… Then she started telling me about a new genre of heating method called a dual fuel system. She explained that it was basically a ductless mini split method combined with a gas furnace, whether it be gas, electric, or oil. She told me how the ductless heating method will work until the hot and cold temperatures fall under 40 degrees fahrenheit and that’s when the gas furnace will kick on. She was saying how these systems have variable speed technology making them harshly energy efficient. I thought about it with our wife and then the two of us both called the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier to ask about dual fuel systems! Before the two of us knew it, the two of us were having a single installed and it was an excellent choice, then now our utility bills are so cheap, the two of us can’t even guess it!
