I had a navy suit if it required me wearing long pants. Nevermind the fact that I’d never spent a minute in a Winter that needed a gas furnace. There were no boots, hats, scarves, gloves plus the list goes on plus on. I has zero understanding of what it takes to live with a real winter. So I had to look adore a complete idiot. Fortunately, I labor from home so at least I didn’t embarrass myself in front of an office of my peers. I’m not sure that working at my desk with a comforter draped over me plus a space heating system under the desk is exactly typical. My first Winter was more about just surviving it than it was figuring it out. The freezing weather, snow plus ice just sort of punched me in the mouth plus I was staggered all winter. Thankfully, while the climate is not hospitable, the folks around here sure are. My friend has been so instrumental this early fall with helping me understand what it take to winterize a house. Of course, last winter, I just laid into the control device however it seemed adore I could never get warm. Even though I was running up a luck in Heating and Air Conditioning heating costs, I was still cold. Hence the comforter plus space heating system at my desk. But thanks to my kind neighbor, I’m getting a step by step lesson in preparing my cabin to keep the freezing air out plus the heating inside.
