My kids keep messing with the thermostat.
It’s really getting on my nerves because I keep telling him not to.
They are not listening! The reason they give for continually messing with the thermostat is to say that it’s too hot. However this is where everybody seems to have a difference of opinion because our oldest child will say it’s too tepid plus our youngest one will say it’s too cold and one child says that the room temperature is just fine. I think appreciate I’m living with Goldilocks and the Three Bears here, then no one is satisfied with the temperature, and so what am I going to do about it? If I had their own rooms I would give each of them a equipment to their liking, for those who think it’s too tepid they can have a window AC plan plus for those that think it’s too cold they can have a space gas furnace, and ask for the odd in between, the neutral crowd, they can have nothing at all I suppose if they don’t need anything, but that of course would not solve the problem plus our teenagers all share a study room so nobody’s ever glad with the temperature in the house. They’ve gotten into this mini war over the thermostat plus it’s kind of ridiculous. If they continue to act the way they are acting I’m going to have to put a lock around that thermostat. Now I got them asking me to get his own controlled HVAC system, which I will not do because it’s needed, and is expensive. They’re just going to have to learn that they can regularly have their temperature preferences. There are these other things that are enjoyable for cooling people down that do not cost nearly as much as a window AC system, they are called fans, and maybe I will get our kids to silence them.
