It is almost the end of my semester.
The end of the semester is so bittersweet.
It kind of sucks leaving professors you absolutely adore. It is also great though that there is some time to relax from doing all of that school work. It can really be not a lot of fun at all. As I was finishing the last semester I had some trouble. Right towards the end of the semester I noticed that it seemed that my HVAC system was dying. I saw a battery light pop up on the thermostat. I had no idea what it meant. I looked it up online and apparently my thermostat ran on batteries. I had no idea how to change them though. I did not know how to take the thermostat off of the wall to change these batteries. I did not even know what type of batteries the HVAC thermostat would take. I had to call my local HVAC business to have them come and show me how to do this. They even brought the right batteries for the thermostat. Apparently it is really simple to just pull the thermostat off of the wall. I was not sure if I was going to mess anything up though. I felt much better about having an HVAC technician show me first. They are always really helpful in this way. If I ever need to do this again in the future I will be able to know how quickly. They did not even charge me for the visit this time either.
