Some people’s house are warmer than others and some are cooler than others.
My house for example is much warmer than my boyfriend’s house.
At night my room gets so hot I nearly sweat to death. It is not so comfy sometimes though. It is because I sleep with the door closed that it becomes so hot in there. I often find that I need to sleep with the door open to let the air flow out of my room and into the rest of the house. In my boyfriend’s house however, I sleep with extra blankets. I am not so sure they even have the heat running in there. Their home is never really cold, but I never hear or see the heat turn on. I am not even sure if they have vents or where they are. I always find that I am rather cold. I make sure to pack extra clothes in case their home does happen to be extra cold sometime. They all know I get cold too and I have never gotten an explanation as to why their home is rather cool. Especially in the winter time is feels rather cool. I think they must just keep the thermostat rather low to save money. They must keep it so that it is just a bit warmer than it is outside of comfort. This helps the system to work longer and live longer as well. While doing that is rather smart, I feel that my comfort in their home suffers a little. The best part is that I do not live there so I can go home whenever I choose.
