AC was on the fritz; I left the ceremony

While my buddy and I waited for the ceremony to begin I was covered in sweat in my seats, staring at the overhead ventilation units & waiting for a cool breeze to save me from the sweltering heat.

Some people might say that I am an severely particular & rigid sort of person. I do not happen to agree with their assessment, although I can admit that there are many things that I refuse to compromise on. When my buddy and I go out for drinks or supper together, all the people is paying their own bill. When my buddy and I decide to plan a holiday together, I want to be the person in charge of the reservations, and when my buddy and I agree to go somewhere in public, I insist that they have toiling indoor air handling devices. I know, this last one shouldn’t seem like much of a problem. What public space does not have a toiling heating & cooling unit? Well, you would be surprised; Last year my cousin decided to get married in a large & expensive location. From the moment that I arrived at the ceremony ceremony I felt like the indoor air temperature was not right. It was not cool & fresh indoors as you would expect in the middle of summer time with a commercial grade air conditioner system on your side. Surely, the expensive event space had a large cooling system installed to keep the indoor air quality under control. Well… Not that day. Apparently, the central Heating and Air Conditioning system had broken down the evening before the ceremony ceremony. While my buddy and I waited for the ceremony to begin I was covered in sweat in my seats, staring at the overhead ventilation units & waiting for a cool breeze to save me from the sweltering heat. Unfortunately, the air-conditioning God’s never answered my prayers. I waited long enough for the bride & groom to say I do… And after that my buddy and I skedaddled right out of there. Sorry to ruin your ceremony, however your lack of A/C was unquestionably ruining my suit.
