Don’t disinfect your own ducts – spiders

I know that everybody is looking to save a buck these mornings. It’s obvious that none of us are in an amazing financial position after the past year of social unrest & unparticularty. I suppose most of us are scraping by trying to pay our own bills & keep our family afloat. Unfortunately, this has led to a lot of mistakes around my home as my buddy and I have attempted to be resourceful rather than wise. For me, a lot of the mistakes began when I started seeing DIY videos on YouTube out of boredom. I decided that I could surely take on the same indoor appliance repairs as the guys in the videos I was seeing. I was incorrect. I managed to chop our A/C window device to the first week that I was at home. Then, I tried to reset our thermostats temperature control settings to establish a more eco-friendly indoor air temperature control plan. Instead, I drove up our energy bills & put a lot of extra wear & tear on the entire heating, cooling, & ventilation system. After our indoor air handling devices were suffering from my prior attempts to repair them I stupidly decided that I could handle the professional air duct cleaning that was recommended by all of the DIY Heating and Air Conditioning videos. I got our vacuum cleaner out, a flashlight in hand, & cooked the air vents off of our air duct. I got a few moments into the air duct cleaning project when I made a horrible discovery… Spiders. If you didn’t know, obviously your air duct is an amazing location for arachnids to take residence. As I stumbled upon the spider nest in the air ductwork, I went flying out of the air vent & managed to smack my head against our root beer table. Now we are toiling on a current repair… My broken collarbone.
