Need advanced air filtration for smelly dog

I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember.

There has never been a point in my life when I have not been surrounded by pets and furry creatures.

I absolutely love having animal friends to take care of and to spend my time with. That being said, everybody has to draw the line somewhere. As much as I enjoy all walks of life… They do need to be somewhat clean and capable of living indoors if I’m going to continue feeling jovial about them. This is why I have a problem with my boyfriend’s smelly new dog. Every time the beast comes inside, our indoor air quality rapidly decreases. This dog is always tracking in mud, dirt, and dust. All of the filth is rapidly sucked up into our central heating, cooling, and ventilation system and evenly dispersed throughout the house thanks to our extensive air duct work. On top of that, the dog is particularly smelly no matter how many times we bathe him. He stinks up the house the moment that he walks in the door and his putrid dander starts floating through our breathing air. At this point, I don’t know what might be growing inside of our central heating, cooling, and air quality control system. I assume that he has completely contaminated our heating and cooling units with whatever bacteria causes his horrible smell. I keep telling my boyfriend that we need to upgrade the HVAC system if we’re going to keep the dog. We probably need HEPA air filters and air purification devices just to undo the damage of this especially stinky animal.
