The lady HVAC trailblazer

When my daughter was only three years old I already had a strong feeling that she was going to do big things in life.

Even at a young age it was so clear just how motivated, creative, and hard working she was.

As she got older, I began to realize that the path of success she was heading down wasn’t going to be one that most women head down. My daughter was always a major tomboy who was loved to fix things with me and was never scared about getting her hands dirty. In her middle school and even high school days this ended up making her a bit of an outsider to her peers because she was so different than the other girls, but my daughter didn’t care. One day after school she told me that she wanted to be an HVAC repair woman, and that’s what she intended to do after she graduated next year. When she first told me this I was worried more than anything, because I had never even seen a woman HVAC repair tech and I was worried about her being able to find work after training. However as time passed and she became a certified HVAC tech, I came to find out that the business doesn’t care much about what you look like, only if you are skilled and hard working. My daughter is both of these things, and she has been having amazing success in the HVAC industry. It makes me so proud to see her doing something she set her mind to years ago, and I hope this shows other girls that they can do a physical labor job if they want to as well.
