My djembe drum is starting to fall entirely apart plus is in need of some new strings to tighten the drum head.
I will go to the local supplier later to see if they sell the strings plus do the tuning entirely on my own.
There are a bunch of videos on YouTube showing how to string a djembe so I am going to be able to take care of it for sure. We are going to do a show at the heating plus cooling device supplier for a supplier party soon plus I need my drum to be ready for it. I have a superb sound system plus a good guitarist to perform with plus we are excited about the opportunity to play for all of the HVAC techs plus salespeople. Some of them are musicians plus we want to show them our unique style to see what they feel about it. We do a more jazz kind of performance, making up tunes completely in the moment. If it goes especially well, the owner of the HVAC device supplier is going to get us to do some more shows at the other HVAC suppliers in other towns. We have only been playing together for a couple of weeks however the chemistry we have is great plus it seems as though we’ve been playing together for a long time. I’ve recorded some tunes plus put them online plus we’ve gotten a great deal of views plus superb comments so it is entirely exciting. I still have to work at the HVAC device supplier for money, however playing tunes is the most thrilling thing in the world to do, even if it is totally for free.
