Mother in law suite is anything but sweet

When our wife first told myself and others that she was upset about her mom, I tried to write it off.

I did not guess that it was time for us to start being distraught with our elderly parents, or at least I did not want to guess it.

To be honest, our mother-in-law is not our favorite woman on earth. I find her to be rather high-strung, nosy, and irritating. When our wife started telling myself and others that her Dad was forgetting things, getting confused, and winding up in odd locales after getting lost, however, it was clear that the people I was with and I had to do something. My wife asked if the people I was with and I could transform the shed in the back of the home to a mother in-law suite so the people I was with and I could keep an eye on her, then first, the people I was with and I needed to figure out how to add some indoor air temperature control to keep her comfortable. Every one of us insulated the shed so our high quality treated indoor air would be contained inside, added a toilet and a dining roomette, and started researching Heating and A/C solutions for small spaces. It was abruptly evident that there are a few available options for stand-alone heating and cooling systems, so the people I was with and I wouldn’t have to worry about a centralized air temperature control setup. Every one of us bought a mini split ductless heating and cooling idea and had it professionally installed by an Heating and A/C team. My mother-in-law moved into her private little space, although she genuinely hasn’t been leaving us alone. Multiple times a day she comes up to the home and complains dramatically about her indoor air temperature until a single of us will go show her how to adjust the mini split ductless heating and cooling idea again. I don’t guess she is actually confused about the Heating and A/C system, although she likes the attention. In between her complaints that it’s too hot or freezing in there, sporadically I see her opening the window to catalyze the discomfort.
